Real-Time Interface (RTI)

Real-Time Interface is an addon to the C-code generator Simulink® Coder that allows for seamless, automatic integration of your Simulink®– and Stateflow® models on real-time hardware. Every signal in the model that will function as an input or output on the hardware are connected to a block from the RTI blockset library. When C-code is later generated from the model through a simple command it can then be executed on a real-time platform, where I/O is specified according to the RTI blocks. Every I/O-block has a dialog interface where channel and other parameters can be configured.

Regardless of whether you are working with Rapid Prototyping or Hardware-In-the-Loop simulation: RTI is the link between dSPACE hardware and the development software MATLAB®/Simulink®/Stateflow® from MathWorks.
