ISO 26262

More and more safety-critical systems are part of today’s and tomorrow’s vehicles, e.g. integrated chassis management, active front steering, and driver assistance systems such as ACC. The development for those systems must consider additional requirements imposed on process, methods and tools in order to be compliant to functional safety standards. In order to achieve and establish a uniform, generally recognized approach for the development of such safety-related systems OEMs, suppliers and engineering service providers worldwide have created the automotive specific functional safety standard ISO 26262.

dSPACE supports its customers in developing and testing new functionalities according to ISO 26262. To do this, dSPACE not only provides a continuous tool chain, but also consulting services regarding the management of development and test environments to adhere to ISO 26262.
